General Election
A General Election is the election in which federal and state officers, members of Congress and of the general assembly, county and township officers, and other officers appear on the ballot. General Elections are held the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November of each even-numbered year.

Early Voting Options

By Mail – ALL Woodbury County Voters

Complete an Absentee Ballot Request Form, send it to the Auditor’s Office, and cast your ballot in the comfort and safety of your home. Ballots will be mailed starting Monday, October 5.

Early In-Person Voting – All Woodbury County Voters

Curbside Voting for Voters Needing Assistance - ALL Woodbury County Voters

This service is available at the Courthouse at 620 Douglas Street during the same hours listed above. Call (712) 279-6465 when you arrive at the northside entrance to the Courthouse on Seventh Street. Two parking spots will be reserved and marked for this purpose.
