WOODBURY COUNTY, Iowa — The Woodbury County Election Office has announced satellite voting locations and key deadlines for the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Woodbury County voters can cast an early in-person ballot at a satellite voting site or at the Woodbury County Auditor’s Office, or vote at their assigned polling place on Election Day.
Satellite Voting Locations & Schedules
1. Long Lines Family Center
401 Gordon Drive, Sioux City, IA (East Entrance)
- Ballots Available: All Woodbury County ballot styles
- Weekdays: October 14 – November 2 | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday Hours: October 17, October 24, & October 31 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
2. Briar Cliff University
3303 Rebecca Street, Sioux City, IA (St. Francis Center – Gantz Boardroom)
- Ballots Available: All Woodbury County ballot styles
- Date & Hours: Monday, October 19 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3. Western Iowa Tech Community College
4647 Stone Avenue, Sioux City, IA (Robert Kiser Building – Entrance 1 or 3)
- Ballots Available: All Woodbury County ballot styles
- Dates & Hours: Tuesday, October 20 & Wednesday, October 21 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
4. Morningside University

In-Person Early Voting at the Auditor’s Office
Voters may also cast early ballots at the Woodbury County Courthouse Auditor’s Office (620 Douglas St, Rm 103, Sioux City, IA):
- Weekdays: October 14 – November 2 | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Special Friday Hours: October 30th | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Special Saturday Hours: October 31 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Important Election Deadlines & Reminders
- October 19, 2026:
- Pre-Registration Deadline: Last day to pre-register to vote.
- Absentee Request Deadline: Last day to submit an absentee ballot request form to receive a ballot by mail.
- November 3, 2026 (Election Day):
- Polling Hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM at assigned precinct locations. Find your location at elections.woodburycountyiowa.gov/search.
- Absentee Ballot Return Deadline: Mailed or hand-delivered absentee ballots must be received at the Auditor’s Office by 8:00 PM on Election Day.
- Important Policy Note: The ballot drop box is no longer in use. Ballots must be returned via mail or delivered directly to the Auditor’s Office.
- Same-Day Registration: Available at all satellite locations, the Auditor’s Office, and Election Day polling places for voters needing to register or update their information after October 19.
